LS XPRSS w/ the Trouble Is, Randi

********************* WILD RIDE ALLERT ************************

THE TROUBLE IS : Matthew Decker returns to St.Louis with his new project The Trouble is. Matthew is singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist living in Carbondale IL. Currently he makes up half the band Kelven. You may have caught him playing drums over at River City Opry at OFF BROADWAY MUSIC VENUE this past March in his Cajun band, or at Foam this past summer playing his guitar under the name Rowen C. Hawks, or behind the drum set with RANDI in August when that hit the road together playing Chicago, Madison & Detroit. The Trouble Is an examination into the dark side of folk its wired and it rocks. Needless to say he's a well kept secret and is not to be missed.

Kelven :

LS XPRSS : A band headed by Drew Sheafor and Neil C. Luke from St. Louis, MO. They write originals, record, and perform explosive, live, stream of consciousness musical medleys. We can’t figure out what we love more, live shows or recording.
"LS XPRSS is an atomic collision of two straight geniuses in local St. Louis music. This band marries two magnetic vocalist-songwriters together: Neil C. Luke, multi-instrumentalist, open mic host, whiskey-drinker of Old Souls Revival fame and Drew Sheafor, guitarist, 20th-century rock encyclopedia, and harmonica-at-all-times man. On the Luke Sheafor Express expect only the finest of All-American rock ’n’ roll complete with guitar solos, songs about girls, pop hooks, jangly chords, songs about alcohol, 12-bar blues, and other fun of the like. Sometimes singing in perfect harmony, other times in call-and-responses, Drew and Neil showcase their perfect bond, a rare band chemistry nearly too good to be true. But fortunately for the universe, it is." - Ryne Schleicher

RANDI : Began writing music while living in Chicago after picking up her pawnshop bought guitar lovingly referred to as "The Baby" in 2015. She soon began sharing those songs at open mic nights hosted by her friends at Earphoria: Chicago at The Gallery Cabaret and Lilly's .RANDi played her first show in June of 2015 at Ray & Rens house in Pilsen and soon played many of her favorite chicago DIY houses and music venues (The Empty Bottle, Burlington Bar, Cafe Mustache, The WasteShed, Situations, Piny Swear, Earphoria: Chicago, Iggle Video, No Name and many more). RANDi returned to St.Louis in the fall of 2017, began playin her "monthly residency" at Foam, and had the pleasure of playing her favorite south city venue OFF BROADWAY MUSIC VENUE this past march at the River City Opry. RANDi released her first tape in the fall of 2016 is currently looking to record her second while writing her third.
