Sahara Sista S.O.L.S is an Author, Director, Actor, Poet and Visual Artist. Being born in Knoxville, TN; raised in Baltimore, MD; and currently living in St. Louis, MO has exposed Sahara to artivism in very different ways that she uses in her work. In 2017, Sahara was the first Katherine Dunham Fellow at COCA. Currently she is on the Artist of Color Council for the Chouteau Greenway. She has also self-published"My Last Words... Not Really".

Phillip Gounis-
One of the cofounders of River Styx magazine. Tasteful ambassador of all things 1960s. Author, interviewer and archivist, as well as former KDHX radio host. Phil is one of the many greats that have kept the flame of poetry alive in St. Louis for 40+ years with his unique blend of blue-collar surrealism.

Dani Skye-Saint Louis native, Dani Skye is a spoken word artist/self-published author. She has performed at open mics over 3 years in Detroit, Michigan, Cleveland, Ohio and now back home to The Show Me State. Skye has 7 poetry collections on Amazon and know is producing her first showcase with powerful, honest, raw, unapologetic and beautifully crafted poetry. Skye discusses love, social issues, heartache, sexual abuse and more.

Mathew Questionmark--
Enigmatic veteran of Get Born and other OG reading series. Matt has performed his poems at Duff's, this series at Foam, and various punk and metal shows throughout the bi-state region. Listen to him craft weird tales about late nights working in drive thru liquor stores in Collinsville or most recently holding down fellow Cherokee stalwart, The Whiskey Ring.

We live in a swamp by the Mississippi. But Foam will have cold tea, cold beer, and hot spoken word.
